I never knew she was Jewish until recently. It doesn't matter anyway. I always had a crush on her. I used to come home from elementary school and my mom would be watching this while folding laundry. One of the cafeteria lunch monitors (named Prescilla) looked like Emma Samms. Forget playing with my friends...Michael Jackson was popular during that time and during recess, I always danced and practiced my moonwalk around her. She smiled and was impressed with my "moves". I even begged my parents to move to Burbank, California because that's where I thought they filmed General Hospital as they filmed a lot of TV series there in the 80's. Yeah, I was pretty obsessed. Emma is a real classy, feminine-mannered, and beautiful Lady.

The only time I rooted for the other guy, other than Luke was when Robert stepped up to make sure Holly was taken care of!

Jackie was a loathsome character.

For 40 years, I have thought about this whenever I see a parade ... thanks for posting.

These scenes are bittersweet for me. I loved Robert and Holly back together! But, knowing Emma Samms was leaving for Dynasty was sad. I wanted more of their storyline and had hoped they would have a child- well, Ethan is their son as far as I'm concerned 😊. I'm so glad they didn't break up the couple and instead they were more in love than ever!

I loved this story-line about the Brock murder and Ginny's torment and gaslighting of Bobbie. Also, David Groh who played Brock was great - sorry he left the show. However, no attorney gets that involved with caring so much about their client. That is an unrealistic portrayal that is being shown of Jake toward Bobbie.

I used to have these amazing GH moments on VHS until I tossed :( Not sure what I was thinking. Thanks for this! The good times of the GH I love! Cannot be replicated.

Perhaps it's because of Holly's own deep love for Robert that she can see through Celia's words for Grant Putnam as just words. GH was amazing in those days! I couldn't wait to watch the episodes especially Holly and Robert, but the whole show worked.
